IFC's development slate for the 2019 season includes several comedy projects from UCB writers, performers and alumni. Congratulations to Nate Dern, Mitch Magee, Timm Sharp, James III, Jonathan Braylock, Jerah Milligan, and Daniel Powell

Funny or Die is partnering with Nate Dern to produce Annika Erotica, “a comedy series about Claire Radkowski, a sweet and simple Associate Junior Pastor whose life is turned upside down after her self-published erotic novel suddenly goes viral,” as reported by Deadline.

Art Thieves is a true adventure series following the antics of three criminal masterminds who infiltrate the homes of the obscenely wealthy and try to steal their works of art. The series is executive produced by Mitch Magee (Funny or Die Presents) and Daniel Powell (Inside Amy Schumer), head of the production company Irony Point.

Timm Sharp will be the executive producer for Beth,  a comedy series about an agoraphobic man who is taken out of his comfort zone and pushed into the world after an old love interest reaches out.

The Middle Passage is an original satire comedy series focusing on America’s race relations and the current political climate. Co-executive produced by Jonathan Braylock (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), James III (Adam Ruins Everything) and Jerah Milligan (Broad City), the series will use narrative sketch comedy to create commentary on a range of cultural and social issues.
